Privacy Policy

Effective: 1 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how 0Pools handles information when you access this website or communicate with us about 0Pools infrastructure.

This policy is scoped to the 0Pools website. It does not describe data processing for any separate 0BIT exchange, app, hosted wallet, KYC flow, payment product, API customer agreement, liquidity provider agreement or regulated service. Those services, if made available, may be governed by separate privacy notices and legal terms.

1. Controller and Scope

For the purposes of applicable data protection law, the controller of personal data processed through this website is the operator of the 0Pools website. You can contact us at contact@0bit.io.

This policy applies to visitors, prospective partners, developers, liquidity providers, institutions and other persons who access the website, submit an enquiry, contact us, or interact with linked 0Pools materials.

The website is intended for business and institutional audiences. It is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

2. Information We May Collect

We aim to collect only information that is proportionate to the website and enquiry experience. The current website is primarily informational and does not require a user account, wallet connection, KYC check, payment flow or transaction history.

Depending on how the website is operated and how you contact us, we may process the following categories of information:

  • Contact information that you voluntarily provide, such as name, business email address, organisation, role, enquiry type and message content.
  • Technical information generated when you access the website, such as IP address, device information, browser type, operating system, referring URL, approximate location derived from network information, pages viewed, timestamps and diagnostic logs.
  • Communications information, including emails, messages, meeting notes, support requests, Telegram messages or other correspondence you choose to send us.
  • Business information you voluntarily provide when discussing a potential integration, liquidity arrangement, pilot, partnership, developer request or commercial relationship.

3. Information We Do Not Collect Through This Website

The current Pools website does not itself collect identity documents, biometric data, bank account details, payment card details, wallet private keys, seed phrases, exchange account credentials, transaction orders, fiat deposit data, fiat withdrawal data, KYC screening results or custody records.

If any future 0Pools or 0BIT service requires regulated onboarding, identity verification, wallet connection, transaction execution or payment processing, that service should present separate notices explaining the additional data processing before you use it.

4. How We Use Information

We may use information for legitimate website, operational, security and business purposes, including to operate and maintain the website, respond to enquiries, evaluate institutional interest, improve website content, protect our systems, prevent abuse, understand aggregate engagement and maintain business records.

Where we process information to respond to a requested enquiry or progress a potential business relationship, our legal basis may include taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing a contract, or our legitimate interests in operating and developing the 0Pools network. Where required by law, we will rely on consent for optional processing such as non-essential cookies or marketing communications.

5. Contact Enquiries and Communications

If you submit a contact form, email us, message our team through a linked channel, or otherwise communicate with us, we may use the information you provide to respond, route the enquiry internally, assess fit, arrange follow-up discussions, maintain a record of the communication and protect our rights.

Please do not send sensitive personal data, private keys, seed phrases, wallet credentials, payment details, identity documents, confidential third-party information or regulated customer data through the website contact form or public communication channels.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The current Pools website is designed as a lightweight informational site and does not intentionally set analytics, advertising or marketing cookies. Technical delivery of the website may still involve normal server logs, browser caching and strictly necessary technologies used to serve pages securely and reliably.

If we add analytics, embedded third-party tools, cookie preferences, wallet interactions, account features or marketing technologies, we will update the Cookie Policy and, where required, request consent before using non-essential cookies or similar technologies.

7. Sharing, Processors and Third Parties

We do not sell personal data. We may share information with service providers that help us host, maintain, secure, analyse or communicate about the website, provided they process information for appropriate purposes and subject to suitable confidentiality or data protection obligations.

We may also share information where necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, enforce our terms, complete a business transfer, or work with professional advisers such as lawyers, auditors and compliance consultants.

The website may link to third-party websites, social channels and external resources. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.

8. Retention, Security and Transfers

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including website operation, enquiry handling, security, legal, accounting, compliance, dispute resolution and business record purposes.

Contact enquiries and business communications may be retained while the relationship or potential relationship remains active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Server logs and technical records are generally retained for shorter operational and security periods unless needed to investigate abuse, incidents or legal matters.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. No website or transmission method is completely secure.

Information may be processed in countries outside your country of residence. Where applicable data protection law requires safeguards for international transfers, we will use appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions, contractual protections or other recognised transfer mechanisms.

9. Your Rights and Contact

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection to processing, withdrawal of consent and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

To exercise privacy rights or ask questions about this policy, contact contact@0bit.io. We may need to verify your request before responding, particularly where disclosure or deletion of information could affect security, confidentiality or another person rights.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above indicates when this version took effect.
